Damaris got her cast of on Wednesday! It is so nice to see her with both hands again!! However, I didn't notice this until Stephen's sister pointed it out (she is a nurse), but her arm is not straight. The bone is straight...the doctor was super happy with the hospital in Petosky - he said they did a great job. But her arm has a bump on the side. Who knows, maybe that will go down as she strengthens her arm. I suppose when you break a bone it will never quite be the same...hopefully she doesn't have too many problems since she is right handed.
Still very thankful that she is healed and doesn't have a cast on anymore!!
