On Sunday we went to the Gaylord Opryland Resort where Steve and Freda showed us around the absolutely beautiful gardens. There were three HUGE areas with all kinds of plants and waterfalls, boat tours, fish swimming around, restaurants, shops, and more. I could have taken a ton more pictures, but here is a glimpse. It is free to walk through, so if you are ever in Nashville, you need to stop in and walk through this place!!!
Real bananas!
There were gorgeous orchids everywhere!
Stephen and I at one of the main entrances
All around the three huge garden areas, are rooms with balconies that look over the gardens

This is blurry, but I took it for the kids...they had some pretty neat fish there, and some of them were huge!
This was a cool window in one of the shops
This statue was all blown glass. It was beautiful!
There were several waterfalls, but this was probably one of my favorites!
This was a waterfall that you could go under :)
There are walkways everywhere through the gardens...many levels of walkways, too...this one had three levels!
One of the three garden areas has a musical fountain. It has performances every day at 6 pm and 7 pm, but we were there during the day and so I missed it.
Steve said the Opryland Hotel is listed as one of the 5 most romantic resorts, and I can see why!!!
