50th Anniversary - Part 1

This year (today, actually!) is my parent's 50th anniversary!!  In honor of all those years together, we wanted to throw them an anniversary party.  We were very thankful that my brother and his family were able to come up from Texas!

Part 1 are pictures I took on Thursday and Friday before all the festivities :)

Stephen's flavor was red velvet...and it turned his whole mouth red...it was kind of creepy!

My friend had an idea to spray paint branches white and glittery gold, so that is what we did, and I thought it turned out great!  Lisa and Mykel helped me spray paint, which was a HUGE help, and Brent and Mykel are very artistic so they were good at putting things together.  When Kara and Dan got there, Kara helped, too, and she is good at stuff like this too, so it went pretty fast.
