Easter 2015

We had a wonderful Easter service on Sunday!  We did things a little different this year...we had a Sunrise Service in the morning (it was going to be at the park, but it was snowing/raining out so we moved it inside), breakfast, then we had a short service for the kids and then our main service.

Titus wanted a family picture by the tomb...but the lighting was kind of funny

Then Damaris wanted a picture by the cross...and the lighting was even worse!  So I guess we don't get a great family picture this year :)

This was my first time doing this type of braid, but I thought her hair turned out cute!

That afternoon we did Easter baskets with the kids...we have to get more creative every year hiding them as they are getting older ;)

Damaris's was pretty tricky...

But she found it :) :)

And we thought the dishwasher was a fun idea for Titus!

He had to look for a while before he found it :)

Then we spent the rest of the afternoon and evening with friends of ours that pastor a nearby church.  We had a nice Easter dinner and the kids played so well together for the evening, which allowed us to teach Brooks and Jill the game Ticket to Ride, which was a lot of fun!
