Family Camp

This year our district's Family Camp was very different...it was a weekend experience instead of a whole week, with the option to stay the full week with Bible Studies and daily optional excursions for the whole family.  Since we were in a tent, we decided to just do the weekend experience.

Well, randomly and totally unexpected we bought a camper with the purpose of renting it out all summer, so we were technically the first "renters" :)  We got an amazing deal on it, and it has everything we need to make it "rent-able" (i.e. bunk beds, queen bed, slide out, bumper pull instead of a 5th wheel like we had before).  I don't mind staying in a tent...I just love camping, so it doesn't matter to me how I camp...but I have to admit, it was super nice to be in a camper instead!

The weather was beautiful and we had a great time.  I wish now we would have stayed the whole week!

I did't take many pictures, but here is what I did take:

We biked to the nearby river and took a couple pictures

Playing in the pools

I actually managed to get both kids in this picture but didn't know it when I took it :) :)
