This year, Mother's Day was super hard...one of the worst Mother's Days I have ever had. But instead of the negative, I am going to focus on the positive!
I was able to spend the day with my brother who is still visiting from Texas, my sister Kara and her husband Dan, and my parents. We tried to make the day special for my mom, so we took her to the tulip farm in Holland. It was SO busy because it was Tulip Festival weekend, but they were pretty! Here are some pictures!
I think these might have been my favorite...they were so beautiful!
10 acres of flowers!
Brent and me...it was super windy!
One of the kids took this one...I thought it was super pretty, and a really neat angle!
Titus said these looked like kiwi, so he wanted a picture :)
We ended the afternoon by going out to dinner with all of us, which was nice. Then we headed home, and worked for a long time on a puzzle, which was fun, and then when the kids went to bed Stephen and I relaxed and watched an episode of West Wing on Netflix before crashing into bed :)
It was a very long, full weekend, but we were able to do some neat things!!
