Vacation - Part 3

On Wednesday we hung out around the condo, went swimming, went back to Downtown Disney, and even went to a few stores in a nearby outlet mall.

On Thursday we went to Magic Kingdom - we got there when it opened and we stayed all the way until the last light parade at 11 pm...well, other than a couple hours when we left the park during torrential rain to grab some lunch and get out of our sopping wet socks and shoes (rain ponchos don't do much for feet!).  It made the rest of our time there so much more enjoyable!

The kids were troopers...they did very well all day.  I am so glad we waited until they were old enough to really enjoy it (and old enough that Stephen and I could enjoy it!).  We decided Magic Kingdom should have been a two day park...we only got to about 1/2 or 3/4 of what we wanted to :(  Some of that was due to the fact that I didn't understand their FastPass system until the day of, so it was too late to skip some of the lines :(  I was bummed!  So, if you go, make sure you sign up - it's FREE and soooooo helpful!!!!  It still helped having the app so that I knew wait times before dragging ourselves all across the park for a ride that had two long of a line.

Damaris was very excited to meet some of the princesses!!!  And, a couple of them had FastPass options still left the day of, so that helped for sure!

This was a cool show - at the end they had all the presidents.  They looked so real!

After the fireworks, we snapped a few pictures of us waiting for the light parade...we were TIRED!

We got back to our condo around 12:30 AM and were on the road by 1 AM to head home...it was very tiring, but we were glad we did the hard driving first and not at the end!

And, Damaris started throwing up again on the way home...so we quickly realized that she was car sick instead of having stomach flu, so we picked up some Dramamine and then she was fine the rest of the trip!

We had a wonderful time...I just wish we had more time (and more money!) to do and see all the many other things to do in Orlando!
